Dear Friends and Supporters of the Haring Valdeos Foundation of the Arts, Earth, Education & Social Justice,

We are excited to welcome you to our website to share our charitable giving efforts and goals past and present. Our first charity as World Nation started more than 30 years ago in Iowa and then shifted to Arizona and Tampa Bay. It was simple but powerful, as we donated our time and funds to create music performance and recording opportunities for kids to convey their artistic expression through music. These kids and the hundreds that followed have become ambassadors for peace, respect, and love. As we move to a new generation, many have passed the torch to their own children in celebration of the treasure of diversity through the universal language of music.

Proceeding from a small beginning of a $628 artist grant to record World Nation, we were guided by the words of Mother Teresa: “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” The result was our first recording, “Welcome to Our World,” with three originals and songs in nine languages. Since then, five recordings have followed. Over the years our performances, album sales, and fundraising have allowed us to make donations to some wonderful charities. As we now have official 501(c)(3) status, we are inspired to share our current charities here and welcome you to join us in this endeavor to uplift others.
